Get ready to discover one of the most unique obstacle races on the face of the planet: a mash-up of hunting, lifting and carrying really heavy stuff and obstacle racing!

Kenton’s Workouts:

“Willi”
1 mile run with #40 Pack
then…
WITHOUT A PACK
10 Rounds of…
10 Burpees
1 Shot from standing position (See above)
Retrieve arrow.

For every 10 ring (8″ circle) you hit you take off 30 seconds from your total time.

For every arrow outside the 10 ring (8″ circle) you add 30 seconds to your total time.

Anything under 10 minutes after adjusted time is BEASTLY!!!

“Running the Ladder”
Run For 5 minutes (2:30 away from your shooting position…2:30 back to your shooting position)
10 Push-ups
Shoot 1 Arrow
Run 4 minutes
20 Scissor Jump Burpees
Shoot 1 Arrow
Run 3 Minutes
30 Sit-ups
Shoot 1 Arrow
Run 2 minutes
20 Scissor Jump Burpees
Shoot 1 Arrow
Run 1 minute
10 Push-ups
Shoot 1 Arrow

    Great podcast with a very interesting challenge that I may try one day, I just need to find a place for bow practice in SoCal.

    Awesome episode guys. Kenton’s ‘train to hunt’ races sound challenging as hell, and listening to you all talk about bows made me want to go buy one.
