I burned 1826 calories doing Greg Plitt’s “the whole nine yards” workout. Basically a push/pull workout with weights that incorporate drop sets and supersets as small circuits and short rest period. Laid me out good. I also did it while fasted.
Love the show and would love to check out the Epic gym! I fantasize about a home gym like that.

I think what steven wanted to know:
Start doing more full body/compound movements versus isolation.
Shorter and shorter rest periods to get used to a higher heart rate versus “whenever you are ready to go” rest period.
Start getting your legs underneath you. Put in the miles.
Supersets in a push/pull fashion versus the bro split mentality.
Take different supplements, (i.e. an endurance supplement with beta alanine versus NO xplode)
Isntead of shquats for 8-10 reps, go heavy and do 20 reps in the shortest amout of time. The “20 rep squat” method, lots of articles out there.
    Add tabata sessions.
Do more bodyweight exercises for overall body control. Lots of progression articles out there to make them more difficult. Even transition in to gymnastics.

These are a few tips that helped me go from bodybuilder to endurance athlete. He should still ift heavy to maintain strength.
